Research Grant Project funded by Chulalongkorn university to investigate performative cladding system to revise Thai modernism once focusing on designing building skin reflecting formal Thai representation integrating with the performance. Through the study of the classical Thai ornamentation, the Thai wave pattern was selected with its flexibility. The tiles were fabricated on 3d print, and cast on a plater, allowing for producing 200 tiles, which were supported by the multi-angled steel plates. This arrangement allows for airflow, view penetration, rain, and sunlight protection to create a comfortable outdoor environment while offering cultural reference for singular expression.
